Outdoor Living
Les Roches has been designed for outdoor living, with readily accessible terraces and verandas to suit one and all. Both the kitchen and living room have doors opening onto outdoor terraces, enabling guests to enjoy 'al fresco' French life to the full.

Terraces and Verandas for everybody!

From the living room, French doors open onto the stunning roof terrace where there are long tables for al fresco dining. From the terrace there are steps down to the lower level and the pool area and summer kitchen. The summer kitchen is located close to the pool area with facilities such as fridge, sink area, BBQ and seating area. Behind the summer kitchen there is a Sauna (new in October 2004), shower/loo and changing facilities.

The stunning roof terrace offering a commanding view over a secluded valley - the perfect spot to sip a chilled glass of Monbazillac wine! The Summer Kitchen is well-equipped with BBQs, fridge, its oen dedicated set of cutlery and crockery. The sauna, loo and changing facilities are just behind.

Magnificent Garden - perfect for kids

The main gardens are on the lower level with a children's lawned play area with swings and a slide. We know how important it is for children to be amused whilst on holiday so we have provided a games cupboard for them. There is a further lawned area for ball games or just relaxing.

'Picnic Mount' a great spot from which to keep an eye on the kids' play area. Kids climbing swings, slide and sand pit - perfect for keeping the little blighters amused for hours!
Shade & Privacy

For those who enjoy peaceful shade, there is an area in the garden enclosed by mature bamboo, offering a tranquil shady retreat or an ideal spot to play boules. There is a further small terrace overlooking the lawned areas by the apartment.

The bamboo glade is well-shaded, private and very tranquil - the perfect spot in which to unwind with a good book! Sunset over fonroque Church, taken from the roof terrace.

Perfection in relaxation!

There is plenty of private parking. Having parked the car, it is a short walk through the front garden. Les Roches is set on a small village lane, the main gardens and swimming pool are set in the secluded valley with privacy. There are steps down to the pool level, these are gated for safety as is the entrance to the house and garden. The perfect way to end the day is relaxing on the roof terrace watching the sun set over the church!

Stunning Roof Terrace opens from the Living Room & Kitchen, with dining facilities for 12. Sun from 11-ish, with grandstand views of the lovely sunsets.

Front Veranda with casual seating for 4 or so, excellent for catching the early morning sun.

Pool Terrace - equipped with 8 full-length loungers and 4 chairs (with space for plenty more).

Private terrace for apartment, with seating for 4, offering mottled sun through the bamboo.

'Picnic Mount', offering excellent view over garden and kids play area, seating 6.

Bamboo Glade, great for Boules (supplied) and an afternoon nap.
